Friendly, Hellas 4-0 Sudtirol

Hellas Verona team yesterday

Second friendly match of the season for Hellas Verona, this time against a Lega Pro team, Sudtirol. The game was played in Bressanone, near Bolzano, and despite the players showed a muscle fatigue due to the intense trainings of the week, it was a good test.

FIRST HALF.
5': Nicolas intercept a long ball and Thiam can't shot;
12': lovely ball by Grossi but it comes to nothing: too long for Carrozza;

14': GOOOAL for Hellas!!! Great finish by Martinho who hits Grandi's near post and the ball goes in;
21': GOAL, 2-0!!! This time it's Bjelanovic. The Croatian recover a ball, rounds the Sudtirol keeper and slots it home to give a double lead to the gialloblu;
30': good move by Sudtirol players, the shot is made by Pasi but Nicolas saves it;
37': it's Crespo down the right wing crossing to Grossi but the former Siena player shot is just wide;
40': It's 3-0 for Hellas!!! A brilliant shot by Grossi, but Sudtirol's goalkeeper can't intercept it.

SECOND HALF.
58': perfect cross by Berrettoni but Gomez couldn't connect;
65': Rivas shot is cleared by Suftirol defense;
75': still Rivas on the left whose cross is hit by Gomez but the ball goes wide;
81': Verdun to Gomez whose shot his well saved by Marcone;
83': Berrettoni from the six-yard but a Sudtirol defender clears the ball;
83': Sudtirol tries to put one back but Sluga saves Bocalon's shot;
90': three minutes added time;
92': Berrettoni makes it 4-0!!! The former Lazio player scores an easy goal as it slots the ball home.
