Emanuele Pesoli (31) is a new Hellas player.
The signing on the contract arrived yesterday afternoon and the player was introduced to the fans last night.
The centre-back native of Anagni (near Frosinone) said: "I've never seen a welcome like that. I'm astonished. I'm touched: now it's my turn to show that I deserve this opportunity".
Pesoli started to play football in his hometown football team Anagni before being signed by Tivoli (Serie C2). The great chance with Serie B arrives in 2005 when he joined Vicenza for which he will play two season collecting 45 appearances and one goal.
He then moves to Venezia and to Cittadella. Current Hellas Verona sporting director Sogliano decided to sign him at Varese when he was there: he played a very good seasons with 34 caps and 2 goals.
Serie A side Siena decided to sign him but he won't play a lot (9 appearances).
