Mandorlini: "We can't wait to start"

"We want to do well, there is great enthusiasm and great expectations, and this wind us up, it don't scare us", these were the first words of Hellas Verona manager Andrea Mandorlini in yesterday's press conference ahead of Modena game.

"I can't wait to start, in these months we spoke less about football and more about Courts, now it's finally the moment to play".
When the journalists asked him about Pesoli and Ferrari, both suspended for three years, he said: "It's difficult for them, very difficult, but our support won't finish".

Then he talked about Modena: "They changed a lot in this transfer market and I'm sure they want to start well the new season in front of their own fans". He continued: "You can't play at your best in the first game of the season, but we know we did a very good pre-season. We had a great change or players, but I'm happy, we made very good signings. And in the next few days we might sign other important players".

Mandorlini concluded talking about the ideal spirit: "I want to see last year's fighting spirit, the power of the group and the will of win the games".
