OFFICIAL: GROSSETO ACQUITTED, LECCE CONDEMNED: IT'S LEGA PRO

Lecce's curva years ago
Now it's official: Grosseto will play in Serie B next season.
The recourse made by the maremmani was accepted and the sentence that saw the biancorossi relegated due to match fixing has been cancelled.

This is the decision taken by the Giustizia Federale who absolved Grosseto that will keep the right to take part in the next Serie B season. Maremmani president Piero Camilli was acquitted as well.

On the other hand, Lecce was judged guilty.
The salentini are then relegated to Lega Pro due to the match of 2011 with bitter rivals Bari that according to the accusation was fixed by the giallorossi.

As well as Lecce's sanction, also former president Pierandrea Semeraro was condemned to a prohibition of five years.

With Grosseto in Serie B and Lecce in Lega Pro, there is a vacant place in the second division that will presumably occupied by relegated Vicenza.
