Primavera, Hellas Verona 1-0 Varese

Cesar Verdun
Hellas Verona 1-0 Varese
Goal scorer: '35 Verdun

The Hellas Verona Primavera started their League yesterday afternoon in Soave as the young gialloblu take over Varese.
The first chance of the game was for Hellas: Ballarini passed to Verdun who immediately shoot without surprising the away goalkeeper.
In the 24th minute, Sluga saved a shot from 30 yards, then Piccinotti was in offside before scoring.
Eleven minutes later Hellas took the lead: the away goalkeeper didn't block Arzamendia's shot and Verdun fired it home.

Great occasion for Varese in the 43rd minute when a cross from the right is headed by Zamparo but the ball hit the bar.

The second half started with a break by Calvano but his shot is just outside.
In the 60th minute, Abbate tried the volley but Di Graci made a reactionary save. Verona controlled the game but Varese tried to scored the desperate equalize. Is the 38th minute when Verdun went past two defenders and fired the ball just above the bar.
The gialloblu hold the Varese pressure and won the first game of the season without conceding great chances to a good side like it's Varese.
