"The win against Reggina was an important signal for us, a win that cheer us up": Domenico Maietta started with this sentence his press conference ahead of Vicenza game next Saturday.
The Hellas Verona captain continued talking explaining how important was beating Reggina: "The win revalued the two previous draws and all in all five points in three games are not that bad.
We're getting use to play together and I think you all saw it last game. Personally I'm improving my harmony with Moras and the other defensive players. Anyway we have demonstrated that anyone who plays give us a positive input".
And Vicenza next: "It's the derby game and I know how it means for our supporters. We must face them with the same character that they're demonstrating in these first League games. I saw them playing last Sunday. In Castellamare, Vicenza were determinate to win every challenge: probably they want to reach the safety points as soon as possible. And about us I can say that we have another aim, more important and prestigious. So we have to play at 'Menti' with grit and determination".
