Pagelle, Vicenza 2-3 Hellas Verona

Daniele Cacia
Rafael 7: The Brazilian goalkeeper confirms he has quick reflexes by saving Plasmati's header at the end of first half. He was close to save Pinardi's penalty but unluckily the ball didn't stop his run.

Abbate 6: Matteo returned after few games to start as a right full back and immediately it's clear how he is important for the gialloblu. He assures more defensive plays than Crespo and without risk he plays a solid game. He makes way for the Spanish defender at the end of the game due to a physical problem. ('85, Crespo sv.)

Maietta 6: Negative performance by Hellas Verona captain. Mimmo wrongs the time on Malonga's first goal without covering the central space and causes the penalty that gave Vicenza the temporary 2-2. But a captain and a great player shows how he is important in the difficulties and that's why he scores the winning goal on a free kick.

Moras 6,5: Solid game by the Greek defender who gives more quietness to the defense despite Maietta is not in a great day. Especially in the last minutes the former Bologna defender bosses every high ball.

Cacciatore 5: The former Varese defender is in a spot when Mustacchio attacks him; he was guilty even in Rafael's great save on Plasmati because he allows the forward to head the ball without contrasting him. He'd certainly help the gialloblu this season but today he didn't confirmed what he showed against Reggina last week.

Jorginho 6,5: Maietta have to share the guilty in Vicenza's first goal with the young Brazilian who didn't close on Malonga before the forward was able to shoot. After this only flaw, Jorginho domonstrates a great property of dribbling and a quietness sometimes disarming.

Martinho 6: Before he was substituted, lot of gialloblu actions started from the left where he was positioned and all in all he gave a hard time to Vicenza defense. Very unlucky when his clavicle was dislocated after he fell badly due to a challenge.
('37, Hallfredsson 6: The Icelandic did not start after his double game with his National team last week. The midfielder is not completely fit but he gives a good contribution to Hellas midfield).

Laner 7: The real question is: how could Mandorlini do without the altoatesino midfielder now? After last week's game, Laner shows what it means to run and recovers ball: fantastic when he steals the ball to Misuraca to pass it to Cacia who scored the 1-1. One adjective: unique.

Gomez 5,5: The Brazilian is a key player in Verona's 2-1 goal when Pinsoglio saves his shot before Cacia tap in. Aside from that situation, Juanito disappears from the pitch.

Cacia 8: Despite he scored twice, he would have deserved this mark for the will and the determination he showed on the pitch. A real lion, fighting in all the pitch zones. He was very helpful at the end of the game with lot of flank plays that permit the defense to breath. Intelligent to look at Laner in the first goal, opportunist to tap in Gomez shot in the second goal.

Rivas 5,5: No ispiration for the Argentinian who didn't show his skills at 'Menti'. It seems like he had no ideas and he suffered a lot. Mandorlini substitutes him when he understands he doesn't dribble the opponents. ('74, Bacinovic sv.)

Mandorlini 6,5: The manager from Ravenna changes a lot from Reggina home game and at the beginning of the game this situation was visible. He would certainly be furious for the two defensive errors that costed two goals. Perfect the substitution of Rivas for Bacinovic. The team is starting to look like the manager would like.

Vicenza Calcio: Pinsoglio 6; Martinelli 6, Pisano 5, Brighenti 5; Mustacchio 6.5 ('70 Maiorino 5.5), Pinardi 6.5, Castiglia 6, Misuraca 5 ('67 Giacomelli 5.5), Giani 5.5; Malonga 7, Plasmati 6 ('53 Semioli 6). Breda 6
