Rivals: Reggina, Dionigi press conference ahead of 'Bentegodi' tie

Reggina manager Davide Dionigi
Davide Dionigi, who was a feared forward when he used to play in the 90s, was Taranto manager last season and was chosen by Reggina president Lillo Foti as the new amaranto coach.

Before leaving for Verona he spoke about tomorrow night game against the gialloblu: "We play against one of the strongest team of the League. They're amazing, especially in the midfield where they have great qualities. I want a cheeky team".

The calabresi won't have two important players for Dionigi's scheme: "Bombagi and Sarno are both unavailable. Even De Rosi is out. Hellas can play with players such as Cacia and Bojinov, who can start from the bench, the difference is clear but I want my team to play an intelligent game".
Then a talk on the scheme: "I've heard that people believe I'd have to change my usual scheme, well, it might be like that but Fischnaller can also play as a striker behind two forwards so the 3-5-2 is not so expectable. I've not decided yet, tomorrow I will communicate it after our last training".

President Lillo Foti spoke in the last days about the match: "We don't have to think we can do amazing things just because we've not lost yet. We have only played 2 games out of 42. It's impossible to judge the 22 teams of Serie B after this little time. Saturday night we'll be in Verona for an important match against a great team".

Even Gianluca Freddi, who joined Reggina last January from Grosseto, gave his thought about the match during his press conference: "It'll be a very important game. It's a game felt from both supporters of the two teams. I'm not here to hide the fact that it'll be a very tough game, in fact we'll face a team that want to be promoted, in theory stronger than us. But we can giving our say. We have nothing to lose so far, they're definitely the favorite team in this game but only in theory: the games must be played on the pitch not by talking".
